Daniela Semarah ,Belly dance

Who I am – Bellydance teacher, performer, and artist. In my life, work and dreams intersect: I began my journey as a dancer when I accidentally discovered the world of Oriental and Fusion dance. In 2024, after a long internship and theoretical and practical exams, I earned the recognized diploma of Bellydance Instructor.
Background: A student since 2014 at the “Semarah Dance” dance school (CO), I have learned and consolidated the technique of Oriental Dance (Raqs Sharqi), Tribal Fusion, and Gothic.
The method I’ve studied over the years has been patented and promoted by my teacher, and is called “Gothic-Tribal Body Control.” It’s the same method I now, as a teacher, pass on to my students. The technique of breaking down and controlling all parts of the body, applied to dance, allows one to gain self-awareness and express individuality through both sinuous movements and the use of specific muscle contractions. The goal is to create a continuous exchange and communication between mind and body, and it is useful for soothing contractions, improving posture, and expressing one’s emotions through dance.
Fun Facts: Not just dance: I work in the world of events and shows, specializing in costumed performances, an opportunity to combine organization, creativity, and stage presence. I’m a quick-change artist: my artistic signature is the ability to change shape, tone, and character depending on the context. I can be elegant and magnetic in oriental dance, or ironic and unsettling in more extreme or grotesque roles. I change faces and characters, but it’s behind the scenes that I find my true freedom: there, where every detail takes shape, I can give form to the boldest visions… in this balance, I find my most authentic self.
