The “Vivere Ballando” dance section offers ballet, modern, contemporary, and musical dance classes for students aged two and above, following the Royal Academy of Dance method.
During the early years, teachers offer a playful, age-appropriate approach, while maintaining proper instruction.
From age 6/7, students take the RAD exams, conducted by an examiner sent specifically from London. Upon successful completion, the examiner issues a certificate with a universally recognized assessment.
For advanced students, the school also offers Pas de Deux, Solo Variations, and technical training courses.
SMA also offers Hip Hop courses for beginners and advanced students.
As an alternative to individual courses, SMA also offers the opportunity to participate in the DANCE PROJECT: for a flat annual fee, students can attend multiple courses per week, appropriate to their level, quickly strengthening their technique and advancing more rapidly toward reaching RAD levels.
Students regularly participate in a dance performance dedicated to all students.
At the end of each school year, SMA organizes an Open Day, during which interested parties can observe a dance class and even try it out for themselves. A free trial lesson is also available at any time during the year.
The courses take place at the Riva San Vitale, *Melano, Chiasso and Tesserete* locations, under the guidance of teachers *Yvonne Jakobi* (classical and modern dance) *Jennifer Amore* (Hip Hop), *Federico Ferrari* (Contemporary Dance and Musical).
